I’ve always been good at reading between the lines — connecting the dots. When I decided to study Journalism, I knew that I wanted to do more than write. So I started coding. Then, I picked up some SEO gigs. And I took a crash course in the Adobe Creative Suite. My skills started to strengthen each other as they overlapped and I became a well-rounded communications consultant.
Years later, I’m still connecting the dots, but my connections are much deeper. I’m a trained journalist, professional web developer, and skilled communications consultant. I hold two advanced credentials from Harvard University. I’ve designed dozens of websites and posters, organized symposia and events on the global stage, managed digital projects across a dozen time zones, and even published a travel memoir. Simply put, I do all things web and words. But what I'm best at is connecting the dots between them. I’m not your typical copywriter or content manager — I’m a digital problem solver.

About Me
I’ve always had a unique perspective. In addition to being an out-and-proud member of the LGBT community from rural Iowa, I’m a bi-racial first-generation college graduate.
Higher education is a very personal issue to me, and many of my passion projects have focused on student loans and the financial struggles of young college graduates. I’ve found success writing about technology, commercial real estate, sustainability, and higher education. Recently, I’ve delved into some of the most most rewarding projects of my career — pro-bono work in the field of animal welfare and avian conservation in Latin America as well as feline rescue in Western MA.
When I’m not hustling, I’m either traveling or savoring every moment of life with my family of rescue birds, cats and dogs. They’re a lifelong commitment, but I find that traveling — I’ve visited almost 50 countries across Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, and Europe — is the ultimate form of stress-relief and rejuvenation.
